What is Human Design?
Imagine fixing a complicated piece of Ikea furniture with no user manual. You have an idea of what you are working towards, but in the process, you have to deal with confusion and frustrations. The source of confusion does not only come from yourself, it also comes from the need to deal with the people around you, trying to give comments on how you should be fixing it and the expectations of you having to be able to fix it, since it's supposed to be "idiot proof". You will get there eventually, but with no doubt, a user manual would have made that all simpler and better. No frustrations and conflicts, just the simple satisfaction of completing a piece of furniture and enjoying it.
If living life is like fixing a piece of Ikea furniture, then Human Design is that "User Manual" for your life.
As we were all not born with that user manual, our parents were not aware of our unique qualities and potential. They can only nurture us, at the best they can, to become the person that fits well with their expectations and the society's norm.
In the course of life, we become conditioned by the people around us, and end up with a life that is not aligned with who we really are. We make decisions using our monkey mind, chase for the so called success defined by the majority/powerful people and end up feeling lost and unhappy with life. This eventually accumulates negative emotions within us, towards ourselves and the people around us.
This manual is not a belief system. It is something that you can take and experiment with. Use it to help you navigate life, understand your talents, skills and potential. It will help you understand how you are designed to engage with the world and show you where you are susceptible to your environment's influence and conditioning. The manual will also reveal practical techniques for making decisions that can greatly improve your experience of life.
This is what the Human Design System has to offer.
